Important Notice: This application is a communication tool designed to connect community members with authorized volunteers of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Dandeshwar Jilha. It is NOT a substitute for official law enforcement or emergency services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using the VHP Helpline application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Purpose of the Application

This platform is exclusively for reporting community concerns to authorized VHP representatives. The operators of this application act solely as intermediaries facilitating communication and do not condone, support, or take responsibility for any vigilante action, violence, or unlawful behavior.

3. Mandatory Reporting of Crimes

For any immediate physical threat, violence, missing persons, or cognizable offenses, you are legally required to contact the Police (Dial 100 or 112) immediately. Using this app does not fulfill your legal obligation to report crimes to the authorities.

4. Prohibited Content

Users must not submit fake reports, spam, or false allegations. Doing so is a punishable offense under Indian law and will result in a permanent ban from the platform and potential legal action.

5. Data Privacy and DPDP Act 2023

We collect your name, phone number, and location (if provided) solely for the purpose of verifying and responding to your reports. By using this app, you provide explicit consent for this data collection. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and data at any time via the app's Settings menu.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000, the operators of this application are intermediaries and are not liable for the actions taken by individual users or independent volunteers. We make no guarantees regarding response times or the resolution of reported issues.
